Will I be able to track athletes live?
Yes, Elitefeats will be providing live tracking on the days of the race.

What’s the best form of transportation to get to the starting area?
Saturday, to Flushing Meadows Park:
Take the local Flushing-bound 7 train to the Mets-Willets Point station. Walk down the wooden ramp. At the end of the ramp, make a right towards the Unisphere where the starting area will be.
Sunday, in LIC:
LaGuardia Community College is extremely accessible by subway. Take the 7 train to 33rd Street–Rawson Street, the E, M or R to Queens Plaza, or the G train to Court Square.

How long can I expect to receive my results?
Thanks to Elitefeats, the moment you cross the finish line! You will receive a text message and/or email, depending on the options you choose when signing up for the race.

I didn’t receive my confirmation email, how do I get it?
Go to the Elitefeats Race Link and select “Resend Confirmation”.

What’s the course like? Hilly? Flat? Fast?
5k & 10k in Flushing Meadows Corona Park: There are only a handful of 90 degree turns and while not completely flat, the elevation ranges from 13 to 31 feet! The only “hills” are overpasses with minimal incline.
Half & Full Marathon, in Long Island City: Closed Streets, loops from Laguardia doe to the Waterfront, 11 turns per loop, 4 loops for half, 8 for full. -
Can I defer my entry to 2027?
While there are no race refunds, purchasing QDR Member Plus+allows for a race deferral for the 2027 Queens Marathon while securing Queens Distance Runners Member Plus+ benefits.

While there are pace teams, can I bring a friend to jump in and run some of the course with me?
Absolutely not, we will have volunteers ensuring that everyone on the course is an official registrant or pacer of the Queens Marathon. All pacers will start with the general field and will be registered through our Pace Team. If anyone is caught running alongside a runner that is not registered, they will not receive an official result from the 2025 Queens Marathon, QDR Half Marathon, and QDR 10K.

Will there be race-day packet pickup?
While there will be race-day packet pickup at 6:30AM. It is encouraged that runners pick up their bib at the Expo the day before.

Is there a bag check?
Yes, at the festival area!

What if it rains on race day?
Races will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, routes may be altered and we will notify you of delays. Races will be canceled only if absolutely necessary for the safety of participants, volunteers and event staff. In this case, there will be no refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk. We encourage you to check our race emails, Facebook, and Instagram throughout the weekend for the latest information.

Will there be restrooms?
Of course. There will be portable toilets. For the 5k + 10k, there will also be NYC Park restrooms near the course.

Can I use a baby jogger, roller blades, scooter, or bike?
No. These items are all strictly prohibited from the course.

Can I use headphones or earbuds?
We highly recommend that you do not run our races with headphones so that you are better able to hear runners approaching to pass, as well as hear safety announcements or emergency vehicles on the course.

Can I volunteer to help on event weekend?
Yes! There are volunteer positions for every type of person, whether you want to be stationed along one of the race courses or behind the scenes. It’s also a great way for individuals, families, clubs, and other groups to get involved and support the community. We will have volunteer shifts posted as we get through to the New Year.
